A typical piano tuning visit lasts about two hours. During this visit I will clean your piano inside and out, make minor regulation adjustments, perform minor repairs, and give your piano a full tuning. My rate for a typical piano tuning is $130. Sometimes a piano will require repairs, adjustments, or a pitch raising that will take longer than the typical two hours and will be billed accordingly.
Please note that I service pianos in the Hood River Valley, Mosier, White Salmon and Bingen for no extra travel fee. For all other areas I will charge for my travel time ($40 per hour based on round trip time as calculated by Google Maps starting at Hood River). I will always consider waiving the travel fee if you can help find another piano to tune in the same trip.
It is best to have your piano serviced and tuned at least once every year. I always offer a $10 discount for the current visit when you book a return appointment for a year out or less.
